The GUASCOR GROUP takes part in the management of cattle breeding operations which use modern production techniques for feeding and fattening.

An operation dedicated to high quality cattle feed, which uses green hydroponic feed.

The hydroponic crop is obtained from green-houses that use thermal energy coming off a cogeneration plants using GUASCOR gensets.


Energía Viva, S.A.

A high technology agro-livestock complex located at Cistierna (León, Spain), covering an area of 50 hectares, is made up of:

  • Cattle feed plant for 24,000 head per year.

  • Completely automated hydroponic feed greenhouses producing 240 Tn/day.

  • Cogeneration plant which uses 24 GUASCOR gensets running off the light fuel "ENVIROIL" which is obtained by refining used lubricating oils.

The thermal energy generated by the engines is used in the greenhouses to obtain the hydroponic crops.

The quality of the meat which comes from our farms is guaranteed by the perfectly controlled breeding and feeding processes used with the animals.

The hydroponic feed, base of the livestock feed, is easily digestible, homogeneous, fresh and wholesome.
